5 Staff and 5 Students from Danang visited Hamburg for a 4 days during September. The visit was part of our goal to ensure that project implemenation and quality is maximised to aid the delivery of activity in Vietnam. Their experiences are attached below.
The participating staff noted that important parts of the visit consisted of interacting with the laboratories and research facilities of Hamburg University of Applied Sciences related to wind energy, smart grid technology, solar power and biomass fuels; System integration and energy storage systems; Hamburg's public transport system such as bus, train and ferry; and the smart sustainable cities in Hamburg.
These results have yielded some insights that will help develop a new innovative curricula/educational methods/development of training courses and in general to improve the quality of higher education and enhance its relevance in our institution. They can also help design and implement for building the smart sustainable cities in Vietnam.
